Hello and welcome to our PTFA page.

Harrietsham Church of England Primary School are very lucky to have a brilliant PTFA. 

Our PTFA consists of a team of parents and staff who work together to raise money to enhance our children's experiences and learning.  The money raised by the PTFA is used to purchase school equipment and to pay for activities and events for our children to benefit from throughout their time at Harrietsham Church of England Primary School. 

A message from our Chair:

Our school believes that parents play a very important part of their child's education. Our PTFA exists to provide closer links between home and school and it is an excellent way to bring staff, parents and our local community together to support our wonderful school.

Harrietsham Primary School's PTFA is a registered charity known as the 'Friends of Harrietsham'. It is set up to develop and support relations between parents, staff and the community and to help raise additional funds to support our school's growth and development.

Some of the events we hold to raise these vital finds are:

• Our Christmas Fayre
• Our Summer Fayre
• Discos
• Our end of the school year celebration - Hot Dogs and Cool Music.

As a PTFA we all work hard, and we smile while doing so. We know that we cannot do any of this without all of the support we get from our parents, staff, and community. Everything we receive is greatly appreciated.

All funds raised go to our school and we try to support the school as much as we possibly can. We would like to thank everyone for their support, and we look forward to seeing all of you and our children of Harrietsham Primary School enjoying future events.

Our successes last year

Last year, we are pleased to announce, we were able to give the school:

£10,410.42

This is a huge amount of money, and it has made such an impact on our children's experience in school.

This money has gone towards:

• Pantomimes
• Theatre productions
• New trees for the sports field
• Forest School supplies
• Supplies for the Nurture Room
• Book corner revamps
• New reading books
• OPAL playground equipment
• The new decorative tree in the reception area.
• Ice lollies for Sports Day
• Christmas crackers and table cloths for the children's Christmas dinner
• Prizes and decorations for Book Week

As a PTFA we are blown away by the continued support of parents coming to the events we organise so that we can continue to support the school with making each learning day for our children fun and enriching. We are excited to see what the next year brings and we are looking forward to seeing you all at future events.
