We have some INCREDIBLY exciting news to share with you!

At the end of last academic year, some of our children entered a BriBooks competition, which involved children creating their own books which could then be sold on Amazon.

Over the Summer, a few of our children were working extremely hard to create some amazing books!

We can now share with you that, as a school, we have placed FOURTH across the ENTIRE COUNTRY for the books that the children created! This competition did not just include primary schools, but also included secondary schools, academies and colleges.

It is important to emphasise that the children took complete ownership of this, the award is most definitely theirs!

As well as this, we had 4 best sellers and 2 jury (judge) winners in our school.

This is an outstanding achievement; I am sure the entire school community will join us in congratulating all children who took part - we are so proud of our children’s attitude towards their writing.

As a result of the children’s incredible effort, Harrietsham Primary School has been awarded the Literary Leadership Award which the children have most definitely earned for our school. We even get a small trophy!
