Welcome to Year 5 Adders Class!
I am Mr Walker, and I am the class teacher for this year. We are also lucky to have Mrs Keggans working as the LSA across both Year 5 classes.
Throughout the week, Mrs Holland and Mrs Frost will also be teaching Music and PE.
In Year 5, we aim to build on the skills from previous years, introducing new content and knowledge in a fun and engaging way! We also have a big focus on the way in which we present our work, ensuring our work is neat, clear and of a high quality, ready for Year 6 and beyond. The expectations of Year 5 are high, and we will make sure you are supported every step of the way!
As well as your work, you will be expected to hold responsibilities such as play leaders, house captains and being role models for the younger years in terms of behaviour and attitudes.
Year 5 is a great year, one in which you will develop immensely in your learning and in yourselves. We hope you have a great year in Adders class!
