  • Children In Need Fundraising

    Fri 19 Nov 2021

It’s that time of year again! The Children at our school are hoping to raise some money for ‘Children in Need’ and we need your support. On Friday 19th November we will be asking your child/children to dress "spotty"  or in their own clothes (non-school uniform). We will be asking for a small donation of £1 per child to go towards 'Children in Need'.

To get us all in the spirit, during Celebration Worship on Friday we will all be taking part in a singalong to Calvin Harris' 'By Your Side', a song which will feature on the live show on BBC One that evening!

We will be holding a cake sale on the playground after school on Friday 19th November. If you would like to donate some delicious cakes (shop bought or homemade!) we would be very grateful. If these could be given to Mel Lawley (breakfast club) or Mrs Smith on the morning of Friday 19th November, outside the entrance to the new building/activity room.

In addition to this we will also be running a colouring competition. There will be 3 prizes in total, one for Reception, one for KS1, and one for KS2. There is a small charge to enter this of 50p, which should be sent in with your child's entry. There are 3 Pudseys to choose from, so please pick one! (See attached.)

We hope that you will help support this worthwhile cause and give generously! It looks like it is going to be a fun and exciting day for the children to take part in.

    Yours Sincerely,

    Mrs C.Smith

  • Odd Socks Day

    Mon 15 Nov 2021

WOOHOO… MONDAY 15TH NOVEMBER IS ODD SOCKS DAY!

WHAT IS ODD SOCKS DAY? Odd Socks Day is part of Anti-Bullying Week! To celebrate that we are all unique, we ask that children wear odd socks to school on Monday 15th November.

WHY IS ODD SOCKS DAY IMPORTANT? The day sends an important message to pupils that they should be allowed to be themselves free from bullying and helps us celebrate Anti-Bullying Week in a fun and positive way.

Please note that there are no donations to go with this as we will be raising money on Friday for Children in Need. However, during the week children will be taking part in class activities based around Anti-bullying and the theme of 'One Kind Word'!
