Our Partnership with Slide Away

At Harrietsham Church of England Primary School we understand that the loss or serious illness of a loved one can be an incredibly difficult time for children and their families. To ensure our pupils get the care and support they need, we subscribe to Slide Away. 

Slide Away offers:

Workshops and Memory Days group sessions that provide a safe and welcoming environment where children have time and space to:

• Meet others going through similar experiences.
• Tell their story.
• Express thoughts and feelings.
• Complete memory activities to maintain connections.
• Learn coping strategies and build resillience.

Slide Away also offer access to discounted one-to-one sessions for counselling when additional support is needed.
