Remembrance Day 2025

The school made me very proud during out Remembrance service outside on 11th November.

We observed a 2-minute silence with lots of children joining us in their Cubs / Scouts / Squirrels / Beavers / Rainbows / Brownies uniforms (I was delighted to be taught the different uniforms by the children too - I have nearly got it!!).

Three of our Shining Lights, Matilda, Thandie and Alfie, led us in prayer and each class presented their hand-made poppy wreath too.

Key Stage One then performed a song for us. The whole experience was lovely.

We were also really impressed with the children who attended the Remembrance church service with Mrs Wells - our thanks to Mrs Wells for organising both events.
